Did you know that:
– Oversized waves created by boats during water sports activities can travel more than 300 metres;
– When waves break on the shoreline, they damage land, create erosion, weaken ecosystems and disturb water;
– In addition, oversized waves can compromise the safety of swimmers and people in non-motorized boats (canoes, kayaks, sailboats, windsurfing, etc.);
– Wakeboard boats using wave amplifiers must navigate in areas deeper than 5 m to avoid the disturbance of sediment and the proliferation of aquatic plants.
